Born on April 10, 1998 Malik J. Martinez, 18, entered into rest on May 31, 2016 in Lathrop, Ca. In heaven he joins his grandfather Salvador Martinez.
Malik is survived by his parents Camilo and Algina Martinez, siblings, Camilo Jr., and Kayla Martinez, grandparents Luz Martinez and Diane Stewart as well as many other close and extended family members who loved him dearly.
Malik attended Weston Ranch High School as a freshman and graduated from Lathrop High. He attended Thrive Church of Lathrop where he enjoyed listening to the word from Youth Pastor Chris. Malik’s passion was music; he loved every ounce of writing, rapping and creating new music daily. Malik was a positive young man always giving good advice; truly caring about others and their wellbeing. With all things in life Malik was always genuine and humble; he was never afraid to be himself. Malik personality always stood out; he was reserved yet funny, goofy and social with his peers. Malik will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson and friend to many. He will forever hold a tune in our hearts and a melody in our minds.
