Riley Burl Larkins, 91, entered into rest April 8, 2014 in Manteca. He was born on April 30, 1922 in Meridian Mississippi, to the late Tom and Hattie Larkins. He is preceded in death by his first wife Marie Larkins and his second wife Channie Larkins as well as his daughter Ella Lewis.
He leaves behind his daughter Rose Perryman (James) of CA and Riley B. Larkins Jr. of PA. He was blessed with seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. In addition Riley has one surviving sibling Andrew “Chico” Larkins of Springfield Ohio.
Riley was a United States Veteran serving his country proudly through the Army. He was a Manteca resident for a short period, prior he lived in Erie Pennsylvania, but always called Cincinnati Ohio home.   He was a faithful Cincinnati Reds fan never missing an intense game. He also loved playing cards.  He traveled the world during his service, and described every country with the greatest detail.  He was hard working and dedicated. He will be remembered as a most loving husband, father grandfather and friend.
