Alice Lynette Herzfeld

Alice (Scheeringa) Herzfeld “Sis”, born on November 11, 1954, in Stockton, California, peacefully passed away on April 6, 2024, in Manteca. Alice is preceded in death by her beloved husband Tom, and her brothers Larry, Bob, Ronald and Herb Scheeringa. She is survived by her son Jason Cloyd (Trisha Cloyd), and her five adored grandchildren, JJ, Frankie, Sophia, Ronny, and Rithym.

During her life, Alice found joy in her work in the hospitality industry, serving as a front desk clerk at Best Western in Manteca for eight years. Her dedication and warm smile touched the lives of many guests and coworkers. In Alice’s younger years she enjoyed tending to her horses and  found pleasure visiting local casinos.

Alice's heart was filled with love for her mini–Doberman Pinschers, Mindy, Lucy, Trouble and Katie, who were her faithful companions through the years. Known for her independent spirit and feisty attitude, Alice was always there for those in need, offering support, love, and unwavering loyalty.

Alice will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
