Carl Silveria Brazil
February 1, 1930 ~ October 26, 2017 (age 87) 87 Years OldShare Tribute:
Carl Silveria Brazil, 87, entered into rest October 27, 2017 peacefully at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, California. He was born February 1, 1930 in Fresno, California to the late Joseph and Maria Brazil.
In heaven he joins his parents, his son Carl Brazil and his daughter Brenda Joyce Giem.
Carl leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years Ingeborg Brazil of Ceres, his children: John Brazil, Diana Sucrese, and stepchildren Michael Filippoff, Steven Filippoff, Christine Lilly and Len Filippoff.
Carl was blessed with numerous grandchildren, great (and great great) grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Carl was a Ceres resident. He was a United States Veteran serving his country proudly through the Army where he would valiantly serve in the Korean War. He worked in the construction industry for over 40 years. A true craftsman, Carl would design and build anything he set his mind to. He kept his yard immaculate and was ever so proud of his lush and bountiful vegetable and fruit gardens which he shared generously with family and neighbors. Over the years, Carl raised pigeons and became an avid pigeon flyer.
He held his faith close to his heart and was devoted to Shepherd’s Chapel. He loved life and his family dearly and felt so blessed to always have them near. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed.
