Carolyn Jane Elizabeth Scharmann (Swec) went home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2017. She was born November 17, 1962 in Niagara Falls, NY and moved to California in 1977. She married the love of her life, Mike Scharmann, in 1985 and they enjoyed raising their family in the first and only home they ever owned.

Carolyn's heart belonged to her Lord Jesus Christ, and her family. She loved the ocean, crafting, playing games, and camping. She led Bible Study Fellowship women's group and was a retired school secretary of Ripona Elementary School.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, George and Teresinha Swec; and her father-in-law, Bob Scharmann. She is survived by her husband, Mike Scharmann; her children, Jeremy and Jessica Scharmann and Josh and Acelyn Scharmann; her sister, Geralyn Fox and nephew Johnathan.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 12 at 6:00pm at Ripon Grace Church 734 W Main St, Ripon, CA 95366 followed by fellowship. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ripon Grace Church Benevolence Fund, 734 W. Main St., Ripon, CA 95366
