Born in Livermore, Ca. on January 6, 1990, David Martin Malear, 28, entered into rest on January 14, 2018 in Manteca, Ca. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Mary Olsen, Veda Malear and Lee Malear.

David is survived by his loving mother Dina Ribet, father Tony Malear, grandfathers Jerry Ribet and Dave Olsen, siblings; Tony Malear Jr., Steven Malear, Jacob Malear, Shannon Malear, Amber Younger, Stephanie Venable, Steven Venable, Veronica Venable and  Elijah Venable. In addition, David is survived by his 10 nieces and nephews; Dominic, Natalia, Gavin, Jayda, Caleb, Bryce, Aurora, Zoey, Irie and Jeffery.

David was a lifetime resident of Manteca attending both Manteca High and Calla High. He was a member of Iron Workers Local 378; working for various companies over the course of 8 years. He was an exceptional talented all-star athlete where he enjoyed football, baseball and soccer. David was a remarkable young man who cared for others before himself. During difficult times David had a gift for always brightening up the room when others were down. He will be remembered for his caring nature, his gentle spirit and his loving selfless heart. He will be deeply missed by all who loved and cared for him.
