I met Dee as we knew her through Red Hat's. She was such a joy to be with we had many good talks and lots of good times. She sure knew how to throw a great party in fact she did bingo in June. I truly will miss her!!!!! Love you my Red Hat Sister rest in peace in God's arms.

Dee many times expressed to me that she wasn't particularly fond of our mutual first name. I told her that my father named me after Mission Dolores in San Francisco, but I couldn't convince her that it was a flattering tribute. She and I spent a lot of hours, just the two of us which a lot of people don't know, drinking red wine and playing poker (for real money, of course). I'm glad that during the last conversation we had at a luncheon I told her I loved her outfit.
We'll all miss her, she was a witty lady, and our condolences go out to her family.
