Dori Ann Perdue, 62, entered the Kingdom of heaven on September 3, 2017, in Manteca, CA. She was born on August 1, 1955, in Oakland, CA to John and Dolores Vigallon.

Dori leaves behind her parents, her loving husband Jon, her children, Ricky and Nicki Borba of Roseville, Steve and Jessica Borba of Lincoln, Daniel and Catherine of Tennessee, and Amy and Joseph Dollar of Manteca as well as Jon's 3 kids whom she loved dearly; Shannon and Jeff of Folsom, Jackson and Janelle of Fremont and David and Megan of Fremont. She was blessed with 18 grandchildren, Kayla, Brielle, Raelyn, Caden, Jacob, Sienna, Emily, Jake, Justin, Gavin, Katie, Austin, Ashley, Belle, Juliette, Fiona, Kaylee and Andrew. Her granddaughters affectionately referred to her as "Spinny Grandma" because she loved when the little girls wore dresses that spun.

Dori was a Manteca resident but she grew up in Fremont, graduating from Kennedy High School. She worked as a loan officer for over 30 years and proudly made many families dream of owning a home come true.

Dori always found the positive things to focus on in any situation. She was extremely wise, which was equally matched in sincerity and poise.  She carried herself with an elegance that drew people in immediately. Dori enjoyed being outside, gardening, noodling in the pool, playing with her "littles", vacationing, or spending time doing anything with Jon. Her children have said that Dori gave them everything she possibly could have while she was here.

She loved her family more than words can say; her children and grandchildren were her sunshine, and husband, Jon, her best friend. Surrounded by them, Dori felt complete and peaceful.

She believed in God and followed Jesus, and was a true shepherd, bringing others closer to Him through His word and the life she led. Even after her passing she influenced a non-believer to accept Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Dori will be remembered for the peacefulness and joy she brought to others and for her peaceful spirit. To say Dori was a one-of-a-kind woman, would be like saying gold has little value. Dori will be missed not just by family and friends, but even those who only knew her for a brief moment in time.
