Dear Ca,rolyn, Arthur and Family,
Mary and I wish to express our deepest sympathy in the passing of your dad. We were most honored to attend the beautiful funeral service officiated by Father Chad;; how fortunate we are to have him as our parish pastor.
Unfortunately I have not had much contact with your dad since 1953. when as a high school senior, I hauled hay with Arthur driving the truck, I believe Arthur was only about 9 years old. Already he showed promise as a young man I feel guilty all these years that I failed to call on your dad as I had so many wonderful l memories of those times. He was a great inspiration to me and I feel whatever success I've had has been partly due to your dad's wisdom and advice .
I wish you all the best life has to offer and may God bless your dear mother at this time. Love.

I was saddened by the news of George Perry's passing. The Perry family in Manteca always treated us 8 kids so kindly. I have great memories of taking a trip to the old home place with Delpino and Mary. They were all loving and generous and we always left with plenty of melons. Even as a grownup, when we visited George and Violet, he would take us on a little trip in his golf cart and give us some produce. He lived a good life. Like many of his generation, he believed in faith, family and hard work. My prayers go out to the family.

What an amazing man, who set such a wonderful example for not just his family but for all of us who were fortunate enough to have known him.
