Jacquelyn (Jacque) DeSoto passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 28 under the loving care of her husband, Frank.

Born Jacquelyn Mae Grace Kraft to John and Flora Kraft on March 15, 1935, she grew up with her two younger brothers Raymond and Gerry Kraft. The family lived in San Mateo, where Jacque graduated from San Mateo High School. For the past 18 she was a resident of San Joaquin County living in Tracy Manteca and most recently in Escalon.

Jacque is survived by her husband Frank DeSoto, daughter Heather Bollman, son Greg Campbell, grandsons Ian William Doherty and Rylan Doherty, nieces Edie Wilde, Shelli Herbert, and Cynthia Haskell, sister-in-law Jane and brother-in-law Andy.

Jacque worked at Kaiser Hospital in Redwood City for over 30 years. She was a member of Native Daughters of the Golden West and held the position of president. She was a Scout Leader for her daughter, Heather’s Girl Scout Troup. Jacque was known for her motto “always be prepared.”

Her hobbies included needlework, crafting, sewing and gardening. She enjoyed traveling extensively her husband, visiting family, attending activities at the Elks Lodge and the LDS church. Family was most important to Jacque; she loved writing letters and spending quality time with them.

P.L. Fry is honored to be serving the DeSoto family visitation will be on Friday, November 3, 2017 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. held at the LDS Relief Society Room 1233 Northgate Dr. Manteca, Ca. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to at Park View Cemetery 3661 E. French Camp Rd. Manteca, Ca.
