Jesse Gonzales, born in Arizona on July 25, 1939, passed away on March 22, 2024, in Manteca, where he had been a resident for 45 years. He was a devoted husband to Eva for 64 years and a loving father to his daughter, Teresa Lee, and son, Anthony Gonzales. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Christine Benson. Jesse is survived by his grandchildren, Brooke, Veronica, Alyssa, Christopher, Phillip, and Rebecca, as well as his great-grandchildren, Emilie, Madilyn, Olivia, Liam, Kaia, Hailee, Brianna, Christine, CJ, Avery, Isabelle and Emily. He is also survived by his two siblings, Lupe Rogers and Larry Gonzales
Jesse dedicated over 40 years of his life as a forklift driver for Tri Valley and was a proud member of the Teamsters. He was a hard worker with exceptional work ethics, Jesse was always on the move, ever ready to lend a helping hand to others, whether it was mowing lawns or fixing things. His passions included deer hunting and spending quality time with his grandchildren, especially playing ball with them. Known for his humorous personality, caring nature, and positive spirit, Jesse was a true jokester and a pillar of strength for his family. He was incredibly family-oriented and always prioritized the well-being of his loved ones. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and love for his family will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
