John Waddell “John A”, 72, entered into rest on November 25, 2017 in Manteca, CA. He was born in Post, Texas on March 17, 1945.

John leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years Cheryl Waddell, his children; Sean Waddell (Rosa) of Manteca, Shannon Waddell (Ilda) of Oakdale and Wendy Buvaro Garawitz of Galt. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Kourtney Buvaro, John Michael Waddell, Thomas Waddell, Kyle Garawitz and Savanah Waddell. In addition he has two surviving siblings, Flor Ann Gregg of Ceres and Kenny Gurley of Oregon.

 John was a Manteca resident. He worked at Libby Owens Ford for many years and would eventually retire. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his favorite football team the Los Angeles Rams. He had a passion for music that went beyond adoration. He owned thousands of CD’s from County to Classical. John’s soul was like beautiful song; with every lyric he touched everyone’s heart. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, amazing father and special grandfather. He will be deeply missed.
