Mr. Amd Mrs. May,
We did not know your son Joshua but we do know your daughter Jessica from InShape where she works. I am sure Joshua was as kind and gentle as your daughter Jessica. We can feel your pain and loss as our oldest grandson was killed in an accident 17 months ago at the age of 25. We pray that God will show you the way to get through this loss in your life. It is not a loss you will ever get over but it will become more a celebration and memories of the time you had Joshua in your lives. Blessings to your family members.

There was never a time when he didn’t give me a hug and “Hi Grandma” when we seen each other. He was a good hearted young man . He was always very very kind. He touched a lot of hearts in our family. He will be missed by many . Our hearts are with all of you at this time .

What words could possibly be said? Anything I or anyone says will never touch the pain you and your family will ever go through. Despite distance and time, I have always considered you (The Mays and Dotys) nothing less than family. While my thoughts are of him, my memories are of all of you. When I hurt, I initially hurt for my son (Teddy) and of course YOU all... I hurt as I cant imagine the amount of pain that is felt by all of you. I have no clue what its like to lose someone of such importance. Furthermore, I would NEVER claim to have ever felt anything close to that pain! What I want you to understand is that I truly love Josh! The secondary pain I feel is from all the wonderful memories I have of him and knowing its all I will ever have, no more memories can be built with him. HE was an amazing kid, an amazing young man, and an amazing friend to my family. This is a testament to the family he had growing up. Not just family but the surrounding non-related family. The memories of Josh, the Mays, and Dotys will live on and be cherished in my heart forever. I LOVE YOU ALL.
