Michele “Mickey” Tuggles, 58 entered into rest on August 31, 2017 in Manteca, Ca. She was born on June 25, 1959 in Berkeley, Ca. In heaven, she joins her mother Patricia Tuggles.

Ms. Tuggles is survived by her loving family; father Adolf Tuggles, children; Shamika Harmon, Ronald Hodge and Derrick Tuggles. She was blessed with four grandchildren Juanya, Jayleen, Jisselle and Kash. In addition, Michele is survived by two sisters Yolanda Dixon and Karen Tuggles and one brother Dwayne Tuggles, nieces and nephews; Lakeysa Beard, Bernard Beard, De’Arthur Wright, Monique Wilson, Lemuel Wilson and LaShawn West as well as, a host of extended family members who loved her dearly.

Mickey had a heart of gold where she was known as the neighborhood “mom and granny.” She was a self-proclaimed community advocate; constantly feeding the homeless, giving to the needy and just simply helping others. Her family was most important to her; she loved unconditionally as she always was optimistic about the future. Mickey loved the simple things in life such as; spending quality time with her children and grandchildren, shopping, cooking for the family and more shopping. She will be remembered for her zest for life, her bigger than life personality and her giving spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
