Robert “Bob” Abreu, 71, entered into rest on August 3, 2017 in Stockton, Ca. He was born on August 18, 1945 in Oakland, Ca. Bob made his home in Manteca for the past 11.

Mr. Abreu is survived by his wife Carol of 25 years and his daughter Annette (Jared) Bell. He was blessed by four grandchildren Christopher (Delany) Bell, Sara Bell, David Bell and Sam Bell and one great-granddaughter River Bell. He is also survived by his step grandchildren, Tristan Dunn, Brittany Harris and Ashton Schmidt.  In addition Bob is survived by one brother John Abreu (Susan).

Bob served 20 years in the National Guard and 20 years with Southern Pacific Railroad as Group Manager.  Bob was a lover of life; he worked hard and played harder. He was an avid poker player, enjoyed RV’ing, playing pickle ball, photography, playing baseball and umpiring baseball. He will be remembered as a devoted husband who had an amazing sense of humor; he will be deeply missed.
