Ya-Chen “Steve” Wu, 83 entered into rest on July 15, 2017 in Stockton, Ca. He was born on November 25, 1933 in Taiwan. He is survived by his children; Gerald and Gloria Wu, brother Ya-Liang Wu, four sisters from Taiwan and his friend and caregiver Anita Handley.

Steve was a resident of Manteca for the past 17 years. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa receiving his doctorate in Philosophy. He retired from Hewlett Packard after20 years as an Electrical Engineer. He enjoyed gardening and telling stories. He enjoyed riding his bike all around Manteca, taking time to smell the roses and site see. Steve will be remembered as a humble man who enjoyed the little things in life.
