Alfred Talavera, 87, entered into rest on August 8, 2017 in Manteca, Ca. He was born in Nicaragua on April 10, 1930 and came to the United States in 1945. He joins his beloved wife in Heaven; JoAnn Talavera.

Mr. Talavera is survived by his six children; Michael Talavera, Sandra Talavera - Salinas, Debra Talavera – Reyes, Eric Talavera, Corilia Talavera Rodriguez and Carlos Talavera.  Alfred was blessed by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by one brother Jose Talavera.

Alfred proudly served his country through the United Sates Air Force where he was a veteran of the Korean War.  He was a resident of Manteca for over 18 years; retiring as a jewelry salesmen from New York Diamonds in Manteca. Alfred was a true devoted family man who enjoyed spending time was his children and loved making special memories with his grandchildren. Alfred was always up for an adventure where he and his wife would travel all over the United States in their RV enjoying the beauty of God’s country. Alfred will be remembered for his bigger than life personality and his unconditional love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
