Anna L McCoy

Anna McCoy, 97, passed away on September 21, 2021 in Manteca. She was a resident of Manteca for 71 years.

Anna was born to Lonnie and Mae Davis in Flippin, Arkansas on April 28, 1924. She was the oldest daughter with three sisters: Mary Dell Briggs of Manteca (deceased), Reola Johnson of Las Vegas (deceased) and Lonene Britt of Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Anna married her high school sweetheart, Floyd Melvin McCoy in October of 1942. They were married 49 years before Floyd passed away in 1991. They loved traveling to Arkansas and the East Coast to visit relatives and friends.

Anna was employed by Simpson Lee Paper Company in Ripon. She retired after 25 years of service.

Anna loved her sons: Gary and Roger McCoy and her daughter-in-law, Sheila McCoy. She was blessed with five grandchildren: Brian McCoy (deceased), Debbie Doyle, Scott McCoy, Kelly Almeida and Amanda McCoy. She was also blessed to have 12 great grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart.

Anna was an avid reader, gardener, artist, cook and pie/cake baker. She loved birthdays, holidays and being surrounded by her family. Her German chocolate cake was the best!

We will miss you, mom, grandma, great grandma and friend! You will always be in our hearts!
