Anthony “Tony” Martin, 82, entered into rest surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his home in Manteca. He was born in Roberts Island, CA to the late William and Mary Martin.
Tony leaves behind his family; his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Martin of Manteca, his children; Janice Martin Shaefer and husband Chris of Indio; Jean Martin Murray (Douglas) of Oakdale; Tony Martin (Sheli) of Texas and Ed Martin (Cindy) of Manteca. Tony spent 60 years growing grapes and almonds on his ranch in Manteca. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Tony was an avid bowler and enjoyed a good time on the greens golfing. Most of all Tony enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his greatest joy, his family. He was ever so proud of his grandchildren and had such an admiration for each and every one. He attended all of their sporting events, and graduations, and was so delighted of their many accomplishments.
