Antonia Aquino, 92, entered into rest surrounded by her loving family on August 13, 2022 at her home in Manteca. She was born in California to the late Guadalupe and Santana Aquino.

Antonia leaves behind her adored children, Frank Vielma, Virginia Vielma, Gracie Ann Vielma, Sandra Vielma and Guadalupe Vielma all of Manteca. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, Raquel, Janell, Frankie, Sandy, Alex, Jenna, Gina and Adan. She is also survived by her brother Jessie Jaro of Manteca.  In addition, she leaves many great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

Antonia was a lifetime Manteca resident. She worked at Eckert Cold Storage for a short period, but mostly she took care of her family. She raised her children to be respectful and hard working. Antonia held her religion close to her heart and her faith in Our Lady of Guadalupe was like no other. She looked forward to cooking for her family and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She enjoyed visiting her local casinos and sipping on a cup of French vanilla cappuccino. Antonia was independent; spoke her mind, but always with the unconditional love. Although Antonia had many challenges to overcome throughout her life she did it with  prayer, dignity and grace.  She will be remembered as the most wonderful mother to her children, special grandmother to her grandchild and great grand grandchildren and amazing friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
