Arnulfo Castaneda Collado

Arnulfo Castaneda, 71, entered peacefully into rest on the night of January 11, 2020. He was born to the late Angel and Abigail Castaneda in Jalisco, Mexico.

Arnulfo leaves behind his loving wife Elvia Guizar de Castaneda of Lathrop, their children, Enrique Castaneda of Redwood City, Sandra Castaneda de Jaso (Ricardo) of Fresno, Grisela Castaneda de Medrano (Ricardo) of Manteca, Sergio Castaneda (Candy) of Lathrop and Marisela Castaneda de Raygoza (Paco) of Lathrop. Arnulfo was blessed with 13 grandchildren.

Arnulfo was a Lathrop resident for over 30 years. He worked as a concrete mason for over 40 years. Arnulfo was hard working taking so much pride in his job and learning new techniques. He was a faithful Catholic all of his life and taught his family the same values. He loved his family dearly and was so proud of all their many accomplishments. Arnulfo was social and never met a strange. He loved helping others and bringing joy to everyone around him. Arnulfo will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and special grandfather. He will be deeply missed.

P.L. Fry is honored to serve the Castaneda family. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm followed by a Rosary/Vigil at 6:00pm all held at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca, CA.  Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 16200 Cambridge drive, Lathrop, CA 95330.
