Benjamian D. Walker

   Benjamin Delando Walker, 83, of Lathrop, CA, passed away on March 26th at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center. Benjamin was born to Edna M. Walker and George Walker in LaCrosse Mecklenberg CO. VA. He was one of 4 children: George Jr., Ruth and Henry. Benjamin attended St. Paul University. He joined the Navy in 1954, and was discharged in 1958. He married LaWanna in 1959, and they had five children: LaVonna, Tony, Patricia, Tim and Jeffery.

   Benjamin worked at Hewlett Packard for 41 years, and
Retired as a Field Service Computer Engineer. In earlier years, Ben enjoyed working as a Sheriff Reserve/Police Officer part time for San Mateo County.

   Benjamin enjoyed camping, traveling and barbequing for his family and friends, as well as riding his motor bike. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0714.

   Benjamin is survived by his wife, LaWanna, sister-in-laws Joyce Moore and Betty Walker, 3 children: Tony and his wife Sally, Tim and Jeffery, four granddaughters: Shay, Zaboney,
Antoinette and Angel, four grandsons: Javinni, Orlando, Anthony and Jeffrey, Jr., 30 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, two God children: Tiffany and Angel. He also leaves nieces Vanessa, Kimberly and Sharon and nephews Kevin and George the 3rd.
   
   He is preceded in death by his mother, Edna, and father, George, daughter Patricia, and granddaughter Nakisha.

   Benjamin will be missed by all those who knew him, and loved him.
   
   Benjamin will be buried at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA, at a later date.
