Betty Bosshard was born on August 27, 1923 in Spokane, Washington. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bosshard. She was blessed with three children: Robert Lindstrom of Colorado, Loretta (Sheldon) Bridges of Tracy and William Bosshard of Newman. In Heaven she joins her first grandson and his wife, the late SSGT Army Steven and Deborah Bridges. She leaves behind her grandchildren: Heidi (Rick) Merkel of Idaho, Edward (Iva Marshall A.F. Tech SGT) Bosshard of North Dakota, Michael Bosshard Army W.O. II of South Carolina, William Bosshard, Jr., of Newman and Robert Olson of Southern California. She was the oldest of 5 siblings and was preceded in death by Penny Day of Modesto, Jenny Williams and Leon Bowlsby and is survived by Tipton Bowlsby of Sonora. She had 14 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Betty enjoying cooking and collecting teacups. She loved to go camping and traveling. In her younger years they owned a restaurant in Jamestown called Hillside Café and they were the owners of Sweets and Snacks in Manteca. She loved her animals and cherished spending time with grandchildren.
