Bonnie Lee Wise was born on June 24, 1952 in Ceres, CA to Olen and Bettye Wise (deceased). She came with an adventurous spirit that never left her. From family camping trips at Lake McClure, to selling everything she owned to live on a sailboat in Ventura Harbor with her husband, to starting her own canvas and upholstery business in Mieners Oaks and moving it to Modesto when she returned to the valley to be near her mother, Bonnie embraced whatever came her way next.

     Bonnie pursued her many interests and skills with such enthusiasm.  She loved photography, travel, animals, hiking, backpacking, and was especially drawn to water activities. In addition to fishing, sailing, and rafting, she was a certified scuba diver. Her enviable talents included cooking, an amazing green thumb and the ability to reupholster anything to look better than new! She learned her craft at Watson Bros Upholstery in downtown Modesto starting in 1978. After moving to their boat in 1987, Bonnie interviewed for a job at Ron’s Custom Canvas in Ventura. Her confident response of “I can cover anything” landed her the job.

     On May 13, 2021, Bonnie Lee Wise, loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away at age 68.  She is survived by Randy Breault, her devoted husband, by Brenda and Olen, her cherished siblings, and by an extended network of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 11am, immediately followed by a Memorial Service at Noon at P.L. Fry and Son in Manteca, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca, California.
