Brenna G. McCleary, 70 entered into rest on June 8, 2019 in Stockton, Ca. She was born in Vincennes, Indiana on November 18, 1948. She is preceded in death by her parents; James and Betty Rice, sister Pamela Aragon and her beloved son Rodney Parker McCleary Jr.
Mrs. McCleary is survived by her husband of 51 wonderful years Rodney Parker McCleary Sr., daughter Darci Eisenga (Damon) and four grandchildren’ Meagan Gleason (Cody), Morgan Brown (Tyler), Tyler McCleary and Mekenna Eisenga and three great-grandsons Parker McCleary, Ryder McCleary and Bennett Gleason. In addition, Brenna has one surviving sister Melissa Trenkenschuh.
Brenna was a Manteca resident for over 68 years, graduating from Manteca High School in 1966. She retired from the San Joaquin County Office of Education as an Administrative Assistant after 39 years. She was a member of the American Legion where she was the past Membership Chair person. She loved traveling with her husband camping with family, hosting events and decorating. She was a self-proclaimed professional shopper and loved thrifting, collecting coupons and hunting bargains. She enjoyed cooking a great meal, which always included desserts and her famous homemade Margarita’s. Brenna will be remembered for her witty sense of humor, her generous spirit and her caring heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the McCleary family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. held at P.L. Fry and Son Chapel 290 N. Union Rd.
