Burdell Werner

Burdell L. Werner, 84, entered into rest on November 5, 2021 in Modesto, Ca. He was born on December 2, 1936 in Deshler, Nebraska. He is preceded in death by his first wife Shyrlee Werner, siblings; Cordula Wing, Elaine Payne, Harlan Werner and Ardean Werner and one granddaughter Sharlotte Griggs.

Mr. Werner is survived by his loving family; wife Brenda, children Stacey Dixon (Mike), Wendey Werner and Scott Werner (Annette), sister Roberta Mechler, grandchildren; Joshua, Jeramiah, Cody, Genevieve, Aleah, Natasha and Jakob, and 7 great grandchildren.

Burdell was a resident of Manteca for over 28 years. After 40 years in the transportation industry, Burdell retired as a truck driver. He was a member of the United Lutheran Church – Manteca. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching sports.  Burdell was an easy-going man, he was a master at the “dad jokes” and loved spending time with family. Burdell will be remembered as a loving man who had a wonderful sense of humor.
