CARLOS ERNESTO OCHOA JR., age 50 of Waseca, entered into rest on Thursday, August 15, 2019. He was born in Stockton, CA on February 3, 1969.  He graduated from Manteca High School with the class of 1987.  In the years that followed, he lived in Tucson, AZ, Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico, the Bay Area, and eventually made his way to Waseca, MN.  Waseca quickly became home for Carlos, and he was happy to settle into the peaceful life he had been searching for.  He was an avid Oakland Raiders fan and loved super-hero movies, especially Batman.  Carlos worked at Bosch in Owatonna.  He enjoyed spending time with friends and family as he had a special soft spot in his life for his parents.

Carlos is survived by both of his parents, Carlos Sr. and Maria Ochoa of Waseca; four children, Justin Ochoa of San Diego, CA, Andrew and Grace Ochoa of Alliance, NE, and Jaxyn Ochoa of Waseca; one granddaughter, Yiara Ochoa of San Diego, CA; and three siblings, Martha (Wesley) Artherton of Ripon, CA, Rick (Nicole) Ochoa of Spokane, WA, and Norma (Greg) Shreve of Modesto, CA.  He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and two special cousins, Anthony “Marcos” Leon and Jose “Little Joe” Leon.

P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Ochoa family. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM followed by a rosary/vigil at 7pm held at P.L. Fry & Son Chapel 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, Ca. A Mass will be on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM  held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church 525 E. North St. Manteca, Ca. He will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery 17871 S. Carrolton Rd. Escalon, Ca.
