Carlotta Jean Lange

Carlotta Jean “Sug” Lange was born on October 13, 1925 in Kerman. CA to the late Frank and Margaret Desmond. She joins her beloved husband, Warner, in Heaven. She is survived by her children John (Lisa) Lange of Galt and Liz (Steve) Franklin of Modesto. Sug leaves behind her four grandchildren: Rachelle (David) Meier of Galt, Nate (Gaby) Lange of Elk Grove, David (Kat) Chapin of Modesto and Bodie Franklin of Sacramento. She was blessed with four great-grandchildren: Krista, Javan, Gavin and Lana. She will be missed by her nephews: Wayne and Randy (April) Sprinkle of Manteca and numerous nephews and nieces of the Desmond family.

Sug and Warner worked together in their family cattle and butcher business. Later she was a bookkeeper for the Morelli family businesses. In her free time, she loved to go golfing, play bridge and was an avid 49er and Giants fan.

Sug had a strong Irish character and was extremely patriotic.  She never complained much about anything and was well liked by all.
