She would go onto become a hairdresser and then later a Realtor. She was always an involved parent being a part of 4-H, Parent Club President at New Haven School, Brownie Leader and Manteca High School P.T.A. active member.

After retirement she continued her passion as a grandmother attending her grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s academic and sporting events. She was always very involved in her family leading a positive example of love and family values.

She and Tom where inseparable.  They enjoyed their RV and traveling. She loved visiting lighthouses all over the country and they were one of her great loves.  She also enjoyed knitting and sewing.  Carolie was like no other, she was willing to do anything for a friend or anyone in need. Whether it be a helping hand or just a shoulder to cry on. Carolie was full of life a “fire cracker” she loved to the fullest and her kindness was felt by all. She had many friends all of whom she loved and she enjoyed visiting and spending time with all.

The testimony of love that she shared with Tom was like no other they were proud of the 53 years they shared and together they looked like newlyweds.

She was adored by her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
