Connie Shaeffer, 78, entered into rest on April 9, 2017 in Davis, CA. She was born on July 4, 1938 in Oregon.
   She is survived by her children; Laurie Barton and Larry Shaeffer and his wife Liz. Connie was blessed with five grandchildren; Casey and wife Sarah Barton, Jandy and husband Chris Pastore, Asa and wife Ashley Shaeffer, Sean Shaeffer, and Isaac Shaeffer as well as eleven great grandchildren; Eugene, Theo, Elizabeth, Abigail, Christopher, Carter, Caden, Nicole, Asa, Wesley and Nikolai.
   Connie moved to Manteca in 1968 previously of Santa Cruz and Stockton. She retired in the 1990’s from Manteca Drug Store after 15 years of service. Connie was a wonderful cook and the perfect grandmother enjoying every second spent with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She loved going on outings which consisted of a shopping trip or catching the latest musical at the movie theater. She enjoyed relaxing at home crocheting and catching up on her soaps. Connie will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, her sweet nature and her love for others. She will be missed.
