Anna, thank you for sharing. Your mother-in-law sounds like a wonderful lady. After reading her tribute, I thought of this quote:

"What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal." Albert Pike.

Losing a parent is very hard--I speak from experience. We do receive comfort from the Lord Jesus. I know you and other family members will miss her a lot. You have my deepest sympathy. Love, Betty

To my aunt that faithful serpent who when she passed God said “Job Well Done Dorothy”. I wouldn’t be the person that I am today if it hadn’t been for her. One of a kind from the greatest generation ever that touched so many lives sharing the message of Jesus. The matriarch of this family has blessed us all and now that torch has been passed.

Some people come into this earth and live there whole life without living a day.She lived every day to it's fullest and gave everybody a story to take with them.Stories that will be told for generations.God made the heaven's and the earth in 7 days and it took him 90 years to prepare a place for Dot. Always spicy, never dull........

Dear Carpenter Family,

Sor terribly sorry for the loss of your mom, Dorothy. I know how hard it is having lost both of my parents also. I never met her but it looks like she was a wonderful lady, her obituarty is wonderful. I graduated with Lloyd so when my sister saw the obituary, she called me in Boise to let me know. You have a wealth of wonderful memories to help with the pain until you see your loved ones again that have passed. What a celebration on the other side when you meet again. How happy your parents must be to be reunited.

Mrs. Carpenter was a lovely and lively person. I went to Rustic School with her sons, who were great guys. Lloyd and I were in the same class and i am lucky to see him every few years at a reunion. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a delight.
