Estella Stapleton 92, was called home on February 17, 2021 in Modesto, Ca. She was born in Seward Oklahoma on June 2nd 1928 to Odessa and Ambehrst Moulder. Estella moved to Oakland California at the age of 5. She met and married her husband Oscar Stapleton and had 2 children Carolyn and Oscar Jr.  Estella was married for 48 years.  Estella worked for 47 years. Early in her career she worked a key punch operator for the Navy and Army on IBM computer systems during WWII. Etella's was a very intelligent, loving and positive person. Estella gave to multiple charities in the bay area over the course of her life and helped raise many children that were not her own. In her youth Estella was a writer, poet and painter. Estella enjoyed studying history, current affairs, languages and foreign cultures. Estella loved to collect Asian art, specifically Japanese sculptures and pottery. Estella is preceded in death by her loving husband Oscar Stapleton.

Estella is survived by her children Carolyn Matthews and Oscar Stapleton Jr; Her grandchildren Lareeceia Harris, Jonathan Matthews, Tiffany Stapleton, Joseph Matthews, Estella Henry and her great grandchildren; Maya Henry, Alexandra Henry, Joanna Henry, Jeremy Henry, David Henry, Benjamin Matthews, Theodore Matthews, Maria Henry and Deanna Henry.
