Eva Ruth Garcia, was born on September 27, 1947 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to the late Francisco and Leonor Salazar. On January 26, 2020, surrounded by her family, she went to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Ray Garcia and her sister, Cecelia Salazar. Eva leaves behind her five children: Eleanor Vick of Manteca, Richard Lujan of Las Vegas, Nevada, Renee Alfaro of Manteca, Rayna Anaya of Ripon and David Garcia of Ripon. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and her siblings, Evangeline Martinez, Raymond Salazar, Louis Salazar, Daniel Salazar and Frank Salazar.
Eva was a Godly woman who wanted her children, family and friends to know Jesus. She believed in the Lord with all her heart and lived his teachings daily. She was a member of Calvary Chapel of Manteca where she served in the nursery and spent many hours volunteering there. She had a beautiful heart and loved spending as much time as possible with her family.
