Helen Hubbard

Helen Hubbard, 90, passed away on November 16, 2019 in Manteca, California. She was born on November 6, 1929 and is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years her son, Artie Hubbard and her siblings, George and Rose Marie. She is survived by her sister Irene; daughter, Roseada (Rick) Beggs of Manteca and Mike (Margaret) Hubbard of Modesto, CA. She had three granddaughters whom she adored: Jennifer Beggs, Maggie Hubbard and Holly (Matt) Noceti of Modesto, California.

Helen got married at the age of 20 and went on to be a homemaker where she took great joy in raising her children. She attended St. Anthony’s Catholic Church since 1950.  Helen was the consummate caregiver and was the “rock” of the family. She loved Bingo and loved it even more when someone else won. She loved to travel and it brought her joy to take her family on cruises. She was a social lady who loved to crochet and cook.  Helen is going to be deeply missed by her children, granddaughters and friends.

P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hubbard Family. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 2pm to 6pm. A Rosary will follow at 6pm at 290 N. Union Road, Manteca, California. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 1pm. Interment will follow at Park View Cemetery.
