Janet Head

Janet Louise Head, 85, entered into rest on December 24, 2019.  Born in Maryville, CA to the late Cordia McClain.   She spent her youth in Stockton finally settling in Manteca, CA where she raised her three children and lived with the love of her life.  Phillip and Janet were married for 61 years, they enjoyed traveling together, visiting family and researching familial history.  Janet was a long time librarian assistant serving Manteca, Ripon and other San Joaquin County libraries. She had many fond memories of patrons and the tokens of appreciation from  them.  She excelled in her career there and flourished with her own passion for knowledge.  She was a reserved woman with a warm smile and heart of gold whose heart of loyalty cherished every moment with her family.  She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, matriarch, and friend whose smile and arms were always open.
She leaves behind her three children Diane Head of Nampa, Idaho, Danny (Karen) Head of Stockton, CA, and John Head of Manteca. Her grandchildren Amy (Chris) Buckley of Nampa ID, Sara (Bobby) Eusebio of Ripon, CA, Daniel Head of Stockton, CA  and Phillip Head of Tracy, CA. Along with 5 great grandchildren who were blessed to be loved by her. Logan, Samantha and Cody Buckley of Nampa ID and Alycia and Ernest Eusebio of Ripon CA.

There will be no services.
