He was blessed with four children: Tedra (Franco) Torrice of Manteca, Tori Williams of Escalon, Carl (Diane) Mills of Escondido and Tyleen Williams of Manteca. Jerrold proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years and then two years in the Reserves. After leaving the Navy, he worked in the computer industry for 50 years. Jerrold specialized in Harpoon Missile System equipment and traveled the world showing the Navy and other countries how to use the system. He loved to travel and never took a direct route anywhere, preferring the scenic route.  Jerrold and Suzanne took many adventures together.  Some of his favorite places were the Oregon Coast, Indiana, Ireland, and the Scottish Corners in Scotland. He was a devoted father and grandfather.  He loved to watch his children and granddaughters in their many activities. Jerrold was a member of the Masons and was also active in Rainbow Girls, served on the Board for the Manteca Cowboys and was President and Treasurer of the Manteca High School Athletic Boosters. Jerrold was a very artistic and creative man. He loved painting, photography, woodworking and sculpting. Along with his creativeness, Jerrold was extremely intelligent and was an avid reader who also enjoyed going to the movies. His greatest joy in life however, was his wife, children and the eight granddaughters who called him “Popi.” He loved spending time with them all making memories they will cherish forever.
