Jesse Samson

Born on June 29, 1943, Jesse Samson, 79, entered into rest on May 18, 2023 in Manteca, Ca. He is preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Theresa Samson and one sister Cynthia Nordbye.

Mr.Samson is survived by his daughters Tricia Samson Raymond (Kyle) and Tina Samson Hale, former wife and friend, Vanessa Garcia Stewart, grandchildren, Carter, Alyssa, Mariah and Halen, great-grandchildren CJ, Paul, Boss and Adalyna and his siblings, Frank Dawal, Ed Samson, Theresa Theresa Ferrer Lerm, Sylvester Ferrer, Pete Ferrer and Doreen Coberly.

Jesse retired in the late 90’s from Oakwood Lake as a Controller. He was a huge baseball fan and enjoyed watching the Oakland A’s and New York Yankee’s. A humble and artistic man, Jesse enjoyed the simple things in life; tasty cigar over a great glass of wine was his idea of a perfect day. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters and hanging out with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Before Jesse’s dog Rocky passed away they were inseparable; which made him take on the role of having fur-grandkids and had the honor of giving them their names Cookie and Candy. Jesse will be remembered for his giving nature and his easy-going spirit. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
