Johnny Alonzo Jr., entered into rest on November 24, 2019 in Manteca, Ca. He was born on November 25, 1980 in French Camp Ca. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Rose Alonzo, grandfathers, Cruz Alonzo and Victor Bunting and one nephew Gunner Vic Melendez.

Johnny is survived by his parents; John and Rita Alonzo, children; Victor Cruz Alonzo, Julian James Alonzo and Priscilla Rose Alonzo, sisters; Melissa Melendez (Omar) and Alicia Alonzo (Richard Martinez), nieces; Lexie, Skye, Bella and Olivia, grandmother Priscilla “Bunya” Bunting as well as extended family members who loved dearly.

A resident of French Camp, Johnny grew up in Lathrop, graduating from Sierra High School. He was an   entrepreneur where he was a master chef and was featured on Good Day Sacramento for his delicious Lumpia. Johnny was the former owner of “The Spot” restaurant in Manteca, former head cook and mentor at Discovery Challenge Academy  in Lathrop and coordinated many catering events where he was well known for his extraordinary cooking. A member of the Matua Motorcycle Club, Johnny enjoyed camping, spending time at the lake and Barbequing with family and friends. Johnny was a huge 49er fan; he loved tailgating at the games and never missed a fun an opportunity to chant NINNNUHHHRZ to the opposing team. Johnny never met a stranger and was friend to many, he had a personality that was magnetic and was loved by all. Above all, Johnny loved his family; his children were his heart and soul and cherished the special memories that were made with his sisters, nieces, grandmother and parents. Johnny will be remembered for his outgoing sprit, his lovable laughter and the happiness that he brought to the lives of others.
