Johnnie F. Rivara

Johnnie Rivara, 97, passed away in his home where he lived and farmed for his entire life. Devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, we were blessed to have him in our lives for so long.
A lifelong outdoorsman, he was active in his community as a volunteer fireman and member of St. Patrick’s Church in Ripon. Johnnie is survived by his wife of 71 years Velma, daughter Charlotte Von Rueden (David), son Chuck Rivara (Kathie), grandchildren Chris Von Rueden (Christine), Michael Von Rueden (Lisa), Carolyn Burtis (Jacob), Patrice Rivara, John Rivara, and six great grandchildren.

P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Rivara family. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10AM with A Funeral Mass immediately y following at 10:30AM both held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 19399 E. HWY 120, Ripon, CA.
