Jose “Lupe” Munoz Padilla, 51, entered into rest suddenly on Monday, May 6, 2019 in Brentwood, CA. He was born in San Juan de Los Lagos, Jalisco, Mexico on November 19, 1967 to Guadalupe and Hermelinda Munoz.
Jose leaves behind his adored wife of 23 years Maria Munoz of Ripon; his children; Jose Emmanuel Munoz, Luis Fernando Munoz and Jocelyn de Jesus Munoz all of Ripon. He has 5 surviving siblings; Juanita Brizuela, Ruben Munoz, Elena Murgilla, Antonio Munoz and Joel Munoz.
Jose was a Manteca/ Ripon resident. He graduated from Manteca High School class of 1986. He then married his wife Maria and they raised their family in Ripon. Lupe worked for A.S. Pipeline in Pittsburg where his coworkers were more like family. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and held his faith close to his heart. Jose was a family man. He was his children’s best friend and was active in every aspect of their lives. Jose youthful spirit made him loved by all of his children’s friends as they looked forward to a competitive basketball game. He loved family gatherings and was close to all of his siblings and extended family. Above all Jose loved his wife Maria, she was his strength and together they demonstrated a true testimony of love and respect.
Jose will be remembered as an amazing husband, remarkable father, cherished son, brother and friend. He will be truly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 10:30 am St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 19399 E. Highway 120, Ripon, CA.
