Surrounded by his loving family, Jose Guadalupe Sanchez, 78, entered into rest on September 9, 2019 in Lathrop, Ca. He was born on December 12, 1940 in General, Cepeda, Coahulia, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents Felix and Bernadina Sanchez and his two siblings; Juana Corona and Ninfa Garcia.
Jose is survived by his loving family; wife of 49 years, Margarita Sanchez, children; Angel Sanchez (Brandy), Lisa Sanchez, Lourdes Sanchez Isaac Sanchez and Cynthia Duenez (Gabe). He was blessed with twelve grandchildren; Stephanie, Felicia, Letty, Eddie, Jenae, Elissa, Erika, Destinee, Gabe Jr., Cienna, AJ and Elly and five great-grandchildren; Angel, Robert, Zay, Alexiah, Clover and baby Jose on the way. In addition, Jose is survived by his siblings; Reynaldo Sanchez, Rosa Ruiz, Tomasa Espinoza, Lulu Castaneda, and Mary Lopez.
Jose was a Tracy/Lathrop resident for over 60 years. He was employed by Holly Sugar Plant; retiring as a Supervisor after 35 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and doing puzzles. He loved trips to casinos, socializing with friends and playing cards. Jose was a hardworking man who was always kept himself occupied doing yard work, pruning trees and tinkering around the house. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan always cheering his team on to victory during football season. Family was most important to Jose, he loved going to his grandchildren’s sports games, attending extracurricular activities and just hanging out with them. Jose will be remembered as a family man who loved life and family unconditionally. He will be deeply missed.

Fry & Son Chapel 290 N. Union Rd. Manteca, Ca. Mass will be on Monday, September 16, 2019 11:30 am held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church 525 E. North St. Manteca, Ca.
