Jose (Hoserr) was born on May 1, 1950 in Mexico to Jose Jesus and Catalina Vargas. He passed away on January 20, 2022 in Manteca, California. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Deborah "Lynne" Vargas and children: Loriann, George, Christopher Fernandez, Angela Spears, Crystal Hibbard and Michelle (Dean) Carr. He was blessed with 14 wonderful grandchildren: Joseph, Sarah, Stephanie, Adrianna, Christina, Elizabeth, Jasmin, Joseph, Jordyn, Gwenn, Landan, Severi, Jaxon, Addison, and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Catalina Vargas and 6 siblings: Javier (Esther), Ruben, Eddie, Gerardo (Amelia), John (Nora) and his sister, Norma Vargas. He is preceded in death by his father Jose Jesus, siblings Armando, Jesus Vargas, Irma Gortarez, and daughter Teresa Fernandez.
Jose proudly served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter mechanic. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, reading and watching anything history related , putting together model cars, going to drag races and working on old cars. He never saw a movie once and he had a contagious laugh. He loved going on family vacations whether it be to theme parks, camping with quads or jet skiing. He had a big heart and loved his family unconditionally. He will be truly missed.
