Born on April 10, 1939 in Michigan, Josephine Minaudo, 83, entered into rest on June 19, 2022 in Manteca, Ca. She is preceded in death by her father John Minuado and her mother and step-father Josephine and Tony Leandro, siblings William Minaudo and Jean Flanagan and longtime friend Adeline Silva.
Josephine is survived by her loving family; nieces and nephews Mike Minaudo (Vivian), Josephine Davis (Dennis), Deborah Hernandez (Bob), John Minaudo (Raelene), Don Minaudo, Anthony Flanagan(Elizabeth), and Linda Pate, great-nieces and nephews Carey Dorough, Terry Brownfield, Christopher and Timothy Flanagan, Amy Crist, Stephen Minaudo, Alicia Harris, Jason, Jamie and Josh Allen, Matthew, Adam and Esteban Hernandez, Shaundra, Denae and John Minaudo and Legier and Lauren Minaudo.
Josephine was a resident of Manteca for over 76 years and was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She graduated from Manteca High School in 1958. Josephine was very opinionative and independent; she enjoyed talking politics and worldly issues. She found peace when tending to her yard; caring for her favorite flowers and fruit trees. She had a soft heart for animals and especially loved her cats and delighted in feeding the birds that would visit her daily. Above all Josephine had a heart of gold; she loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children; she loved them very much and missed seeing them. Josephine will be remembered for her feisty character and her giving heart. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
