Junior H. Liles

Junior Harlan Liles, 91, entered into rest on November 3, 2021 in Manteca, Ca. He was born on April 20, 1930 in Porum, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Elsie Liles, siblings Melvin Liles and Wilma Higgs. 

Mr. Liles is survived by his wife Wanda and his two daughters Deborah Vargas (Jose) and Joyce Garcia. He was blessed with 6 grandchildren Angela, Crystal, Ronald, Michelle, Janell and Gabe and 7 great-grandchildren Joseph, Jordyn, Gwenn, Landan Severi, Jaxon Harlan and Addison. In addition he has two surviving siblings, Herbert Liles and Betty Cochran.

Junior was a veteran of the United States Army. He made his career as a contractor where he built homes all over the central valley. He was a past member of the 1st Assembly of God Church Manteca and a member of Cornerstone Community Church where he was the Sunday morning greeter. He enjoyed gardening, building homes and sports. Family was number one for Junior; he was his happiest when spending quality time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren; he loved them unconditionally. He will be remembered for his strong work ethics, his devotion to family and his love for God. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
