Kathleen Laverne Hayes

Born in Chicago on January 15, 1950, Kathleen L. Clinton Zinck Hayes, 71, entered into rest on September 2, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Laverne Clinton, and husband David L. Zinck.

A loving mother, grandmother, and sister, Kathleen is survived by her loving family, children; Deidra Zinck, David C. Zinck, Cherylanne Zinck, Darren Zinck,  Courtney Phillips and son in law, Riley Phillips grandchildren, Taylor Phillips, Alexandria Phillips, Cerena Ross, Kendra Ross, Blake Phillips, and one brother, John Clinton.

Kathleen was a resident of Manteca for nine years. A nurturing mother and grandmother, Kathleen cherished family time. She absolutely loved shopping, especially at her favorite store, Hobby Lobby. Her talent for interior design and decoration always flowed through her home beautifully. Kathleen always had a giving heart; she enjoyed cooking, and she loved to feed her family and friends. She was a wonderful listener and a great friend; she always had a shoulder to lean on when in need.

Kathleen will be remembered for her outgoing spirit, her friendly personality, and her love that she displayed towards others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
