Born in Modesto, Ca. on May 7, 1988 Katrina Renee Hite entered into rest on April 11, 2018 at the age of 29 years old. Katrina is preceded in death by her loving husband Stephen Hite who passed away just 7 months prior to her death and her infant brother Jeremy Hinman.

Katrina is survived by her family; Mother and Father; Deanna & Nate Gossett Jr., Mother-in-Law Karen Faulkner, Grammy Marian Santa Cruz, siblings; Nathan Gossett III, Krystle Gossett, Anthony Gossett, Sammy Aldalva and Katie Hinman. Katrina is also survived by many aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

A 10 year resident of Manteca Katrina grew up in Oakdale graduating from Oakdale High School in 2006. Katrina was a protectionist and extremely intelligent, naturally going on to College studying law. She attended Humphreys Law School and Golden Gate University School of Law receiving her Doctorate degree in May of 2017. She worked for various firms including; San Joaquin District Attorney’s Office, The Center for Common Concerns and San Jose District Attorney’s Office. She was most proud and passionate about working as Legal Intern for the Veterans' Legal Advocacy Clinic where she was instrumental in writing laws for the GGU’s Environmental Law Journal. When Katrina wasn’t studying she enjoyed cooking, riding her motorcycle and cuddling her animals, especially her newest cat Chloe who comforted her the past 7 months after the passing of her one true love Stephen. Katrina had a strong personality; she was the fire of her family, the rock that always stood tall in tough situations. She will be remembered for her unconditional love she portrayed towards others.
