Laurie Garza

Laurie Garza, 45, entered into rest February 1, 2020 in Palo Alto, CA. She was born on January 4, 1975 in Medford, Oregon. In heaven she joins her father Tim Beals and her adored son Ira Brum.

Laurie leaves behind her daughters Lila De Anne Brum and Maggie Jean Brum as well as her mother Barbara Matlean and siblings, Jason Beals, Mindy Owings and Becky Robbins.

Laurie was mainly raised in Manteca. She attended Manteca High School and would later dedicate herself to caring for her children. She enjoyed crafting and loved spending time outdoors. She spent a lot of time in her garden where she felt most peace. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, fishing, a good Tim Burton movie, or simply admiring a movie or a photo with her favorite actor Johnny Depp.

Her daughters were the apple of her eye, she loved them beyond words and was proud of their accomplishments. Laurie loved unconditionally. She was opened minded and never judgmental. Laurie will be remembered for her free spirit and her smile that lit up a room. She will be deeply missed.
