Laurie Ann Tosta, 65, entered into rest surrounded by her loving family on October 15, 2020 in Hughson, CA. She was born September 28, 1955 to Manuel Joseph Tosta and Annabelle Lee Donald. 

Laurie leaves behind her loving children, Nicholas Salvador Medina and Jenna Nicole Mendibles both of Hughson. Laurie also leaves the father of her children and best friend George Medina, siblings, Donelle Dizney of Arroyo Grande, CA, Adrianna Serpa of Hughson, Joann Morin of Hughson and her nieces and nephews. Laurie is preceded in death by her mother, father, step sister Tricia Parga and nephew David Rendek.

Laurie was originally of Arroyo Grande, CA, but called Santa Barbara home for 20 years. She worked at  Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital before moving to Northern California, where she would make home in Hughson. Laurie worked for Modesto Radiology where she had countless friends that describe her as the hardest working person they ever met. She loved her family and made sure that all their needs were met. She lived completely for children, her son was her love and protector and her daughter her best friend and confidant. She was strong willed and determined, but always with a loving heart. Laurie would accomplish anything she set her mind to. She was private and her home was her sanctuary but she was always very warm and kind to those around her who she loved.   

Laurie was described as “FIRE” she poured out love to everyone around her and her presence and young spirit was felt by everyone. She was beauty in every form. She adored her community of friends that she had made living in Hughson and thought of them as family. 

Laurie will be remembered for her zest for life, for being an amazing mother, loving sister, aunt and friend she will be deeply missed. 

P.L. Fry is honored to serve Laurie’s family. A celebration of life will be held in her honor on Saturday, October 24, 2020 1:00 pm at P.L. Fry and Son, 290 North Union Road, Manteca, CA.
