Linda Gayle Pitts

Linda Gayle Pitts, 62, formerly of Sacramento, passed away suddenly Friday evening, November 1, 2019. Linda was born in Sacramento in 1957 and graduated from Rio Americano High School in 1975. Linda started her career with the state at the age of 19, working for Franchise Tax Board. She retired from the Department of Motor Vehicles in 2006 due to health issues.

Linda loved to host parties and before her death, had discovered the joy of hosting tea parties for her friends. She also loved her birds, which brought her great joy and happiness throughout the years. Linda’s true love was her family and she was extremely proud of her niece and nephew, and so thrilled to be able to meet and hold her beautiful great niece just a month before she passed away.

Linda is survived by her mother and father, Dortha and Dorman Pitts; sister and brother in law, Teresa and Joe Machado; nephew, Dr. Logan Stark and wife, Farrah Stark, with great niece, Mila Stark; niece, Hailee Stark and fiancé, Roy Chavez.  She also leaves two god children, Serena and Brittaney Bagshaw, and best forever friend Sherree Bagshaw and husband Bill Bagshaw.

Linda was known best for her kindness and thoughtfulness of others. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and robust laugh. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
