Marco Bowers, 63, entered into rest surrounded by his family on July 16, 2022. He was born in San Francisco, CA to the late Daniel Bowers and Georgia Xepoleas.

Marco leaves behind his siblings, Connie Kesler, Theresa Bowers, Emery Knudston, Brady Knudston, Abbey Wagley and Lacey Hendricksen. Marco also leave his nephews Anthony and Andrew Kesler and many others.

Marco was a bay area native before making home in Manteca. He graduated class of 1977 from Amador High School in Pleasanton. He would then go on to own and operate Bowers Performance Automotive for over 30 years. His passion was NASCAR. He was an avid sprint car builder and driver. If he was not on the racetrack, he was in his shop doing what he did best. He was easy going by nature and always willing to extend a helping hand. He treasured his nephews Anthony and Andrew as his own and would be there as a father figure to help raise and guide them. He will be remembered as an amazing brother and cherished uncle. He will be deeply missed.

P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve Marco’s family. A celebration of life will be held in his honor on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 1:00pm at P.L. Fry and Son, 290 North Union Road. Donations may be made to the ASPCA.
